The Gloomhaven display case is something I’ve wanted to make since the second I first layed it out on my table, the design landing near fully formed in my head right there and then. It’s taken me a while to get around to doing it and I’ve made a few revisions along the way but I’m really happy with how it’s come together, even more so with how it looks and works on the wall.
There were a few really important elements of the design that come together to ensure the right level of function, as well as form.
Elegant, streamlined design. Nothing so detailed it would draw too much attention from the contents.
Reduce TTT (Time To Table) when playing.
Earn table space back for the main game components.
Retains visibility of the full board from most, if not all viewing angles.
Provides accessbility to the entire map and cast of class miniatures
Must be wall mountable without special equipment/installations. Screws only.
Optional doors and multiple finish options.
Made in oak for strength, look and versatility in finish.
No compromise quality joinery.
It really has become my favourite piece in our games/front room. It works as a wall mounted frame, a display case, a protective vault, a work of art. Gloomhaven never look and performed better.
